This is a space born from a simple belief: that the way we connect with the land shapes the food we eat, the meals we share, and the lives we lead.
We may have met behind a screen over on instagram, out in the wild, perhaps flanked by tall hedges, or maybe you know me through one of the books or articles I have written. The journey to living a life connected with nature continues here, where you’ll find a place to explore the everyday magic and challenges of life close to the land. I’ll be sharing more real and honest stories, recipes, and reflections that celebrate the quiet, profound joy of seasonal cooking and the enduring values of good, honest food.
My latest book, The Farm Kitchen, coming this August, is a love letter to the British countryside, the kitchen garden, and our breathtaking coast. It’s packed with over 80 seasonal recipes and thoughtful essays on farming’s future. To accompany my new book this space will become a companion, where you’ll find recipes designed to nourish both body and soul, alongside stories from my life as we start out on a new adventure (more on that soon), gentle reminders of nature’s rhythms, and reflections on the deeper meaning of sustainable food.
